I recently tried the Chicken Kebab Roll at Kebabish, and it was absolutely delicious and incredibly filling. The roll came with a side of mint chutney, which complemented the flavors perfectly. Kebabish is budget-friendly if you dine in, and they have outdoor seating available, which adds to the experience. The food truly represents authentic South Asian cuisine, and I savored every bite. The service was quick but the place is too small.

Do not go for the ambiance or decor--as there is none. Instead, do invest in the tasty dishes offered in this humble establishment. The young and old employees are very respectful and sincere and do a great job of serving individual needs. Being Pakistani and Hyderabadi, I am very proud of the delicious food served here. I wish they had more of an in-service dining system but hey, even dives deliver!

This place is definitely not your typical sit-down fancy restaurant, but it's a hidden gem with some of the best Bihari kebab in NY and the best gola kebab I've ever had. It's a craving that makes me drive 45 minutes to an hour from eastern Long Island just to enjoy it. Pair it with some buttered naan, and it's just perfection! Can the place be cleaner? Yes, of course--it's really not the most appealing looking. However, the incredible food more than makes up for it.

Everytime I'm in NYC and in the Jackson Heights neighborhood, I stop by here. The best kebabs ever, the gola kebab, while too spicy for my bf, is a must-have for me. Will keep coming back.

For anyone in search of authentic Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi cuisine, Kababish is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed. This take-out restaurant has quickly become the go-to spot for my wife and I, especially when we're craving dishes like Nihari, Haleem, and Kababs. Each dish we've tried has been exceptionally delicious, bursting with flavors that rival the best Desi food spots in cities known for great Indian cuisine like Dallas and Houston. While Kababish offers minimal outdoor seating and serves food on disposable plates with plasticware, the quality of the meals more than makes up for the simple presentation. The focus here is clearly on delivering top-notch flavors and hearty portions. I highly recommend using their app to place orders. It's super convenient, especially since the restaurant doesn't have much space for dining in. The app is user-friendly and makes it easy to get your food quickly without any hassle. Whether you're a long-time lover of South Asian cuisine or new to these flavors, Kababish is sure to impress with its authentic dishes and quick, friendly service. It's a must-try for anyone looking for great tasting Desi food to go!

We Uber-eats this place all the time. This came highly recommended from a friend who knows his biryani's and kebabs. The chicken tikka and kebabs are some of the best we've had. The biryani is good too, a bit spicier than you would expect a biryani to be. Now, I feel compelled to say, that I always had a sneaky feeling this place would fail a hygiene check, if they ever had one done. I need to preface this statement by saying, I had never been to the place before. But we found ourselves in Jackson Heights recently and saw Kababish across the street. We thought, what the hell. Lets take out a pick up order. And I wish we hadn't because everything about the kitchen and storefront was questionable. There was maybe one person with disposable gloves on working on orders. There were curries that had been laid out buffet style for lord knows, how long. I saw a review here that said they found a roach in their biryani - I fully believe that to be true. It's one of those places where you simply don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. Honestly, the food is really decent. Try your best to not imagine where the food was made and you'll be good. And hope for the best that you don't find other protein in your food, that you didn't ask or pay for.
